This was my favorite World Championships by far! Going into the tournament with our team this year definitely had a different focus.
Worlds had the feeling of being bigger than a competition or the pursuit of collecting a world title. This year it had the feeling of a community helping each other grow and succeed regardless of patch or school name.
While helping build NMAA I have learned that some people come into your community and take everything they can get from you.
On the other hand some people come into your community because they want to connect and contribute to something bigger than just themselves. I feel our organization has seen many people from both sides over the recent years.
NMAA Worlds this year was full of people who are all about connection and contribution.
Thank you to everyone who attended Worlds this year. You made this event feel how i know it was originally intended to be through your caring contributions.
In the photos below we had a group of almost 200 students come together from different schools around the world to contribute to a powerful mission and vision.
I am posting these photos instead of winning podium shots this year because I think these photos represent what truly matters.
