It’s Worlds Week! What’s your top Worlds Pro Tip? Here are some of our favorites:
- Pre-book your parking🚗🚗🚗 Save time⌚, stress😤, and money💵: visit denverconvention.com/parking to book one or multiple days at a far lower rate than on the day.
- Save the pictures of the schedule to your phone for quick reference on the day.
Download them from the NMAA’s website or at bit.ly/VMAWorlds2025 - Introduce yourself to your ring’s other competitors or spectators if you don’t know them – you’ll likely be seeing them at tournaments for years to come, and it’s always more fun with friends!😎☺️
- Make sure to bring EVERYTHING you need!
- Parents: Wear your Venture gear and comfortable shoes. Bring healthy snacks to fuel both you and your athlete(s).👟🍎
- Before leaving for the Convention Center, each athlete should do a full check of their gear bag. Make sure that includes a mouth guard and cup (if applicable) and bring all weapons you need. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BELT!🎒⚔️🥋
- LABEL all gear and bags (we recommend a metallic Sharpie). It’s easy for things to get lost in the shuffle.🖊️🏷️
- If doing an elevated/inventive, remember to charge your speaker.🔊🔋🪫
- Black Belts should arrive at the Convention Center dressed up and then change. Color belts can arrive in uniform, but it must be the FULL uniform – no summer shirts or Comp Team sweats. If you have a garment bag, put all uniform-related items in that so everything stays together.🥋
- If you plan to be there all day, bring a charging brick and cable.🔋🪫
- For the black belt rings, many competitors have their names on the back of their uniforms. Snap a picture from behind when the ring bows in so you can remember all the competitors’ names later.🥋📷
