Micah Martin
Micah Martin

Founder + CEO
Co-Founder of the National Martial Arts Alliance

Micah Martin is the Founder and CEO of Venture Martial Arts and Co-Founder of the National Martial Arts Alliance. A 5th Degree Black Belt with 20 years of experience, Micah has dedicated his life to empowering students, instructors, and martial arts schools to deliver world-class programs that transform lives.

Micah’s martial arts journey began at age 14 in Conifer, Colorado, driven by a desire to improve himself as a person. A defining moment came early in his career, when he stepped into a Taekwondo club in Stapleton, Colorado — a location others had given up on. Where one instructor literally walked out, leaving a handwritten sign that said, “No classes today,” Micah saw opportunity. With dedication and vision, he transformed that program into one of the largest and most successful programs in the country.

As a leader, Micah believes that life skills are earned, not taught. Confidence is earned through preparation, respect through shared effort and trust, discipline through powerful habits, and focus through the constant dedication to stay on task. At Venture Martial Arts, he strives to provide the best martial arts experience in the world — combining elite instruction, top-tier facilities, innovative program design, and a caring, positive community.

Micah is passionate about mentoring young instructors. He empowers teens and young adults to take on real responsibility, believing that when they are trusted to do great things, they rise to the challenge. The most rewarding moments in his career have been watching members of his team grow into leaders of their own teams.

As a Co-founder of the National Martial Arts Alliance, Micah has helped the organization expand to cities all across the United States and many different countries across the world. He serves on the NMAA Board, co-founded its NXT Program for instructor development, led its Business Council supporting school owners worldwide, and previously contributed to the Vision Council for Shimsan Taekwondo. His ongoing mission is to help the martial arts industry deliver better experiences for students everywhere.

Looking ahead, Micah’s vision for Venture Martial Arts is to expand throughout the Denver area, bringing its powerful message of confidence, discipline, respect, and focus to more families. What drives him most is creating opportunities for young people — especially those, like himself, who come from humble beginnings — to learn, lead, and build something truly great.
