Sparring Week
Students will be sparring this week. Please bring all gear to class. We recommend arriving a few minutes early.

Hoodie Update
Hoodies are in and we actually have some extras! If you pre-ordered one, you can pick it up at the front desk. Students can wear them in class from now until March 31st.
If you didn’t pre-order one, we have an extremely limited inventory of additional 2026 Venture Hoodies. These items are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once our current stock is depleted, we will not be restocking this design.
If your student doesn’t have one they should continue to wear their full uniform or comp team sweats.
Register for the Colorado Winter Classic Tournament: Early bird pricing ends WEDNESDAY!
The tournament will be held THIS Saturday, February 7th at the Colorado School of Mines’ Steinhauer Fieldhouse. Discounted online pricing for the NMAA’s Colorado Winter Classic Tournament ends this Wednesday, February 4th, so register today!
If you don’t register in advance, you can still register at the door on the day, just come extra early.
We encourage all students of all belt levels and ages to compete at tournaments (yes, even white belt Little Dragons) – no previous experience required!

Additional Tournament Information:
If your student is a beginner, we recommend signing up for the Recreational Ring. In this ring, instructors walk students through their form, which removes the memorization component. The Recreational Ring provides a fun, stress-free environment that introduces students to a tournament setting. All students ages 5-6 are automatically classified as Recreational.
The Competitive Ring is designed for students who have their form memorized (1st half of form only). Students compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place podium spots.
Students have the option to spar or do self-defense. This selection is made at the time of registration. If you don’t have sparring gear, self-defense is the best choice for you!
