Meet the Team: Marcos Sandoval

Marcos Sandoval

Mr. Marcos Sandoval, 18, began Taekwondo training at the age of 5. His parents wanted both him and his older brother Gabriel to share an activity, and Taekwondo quickly became something special for them. Growing through the ranks side by side gave Marcos a unique source of motivation and accountability. His talent and dedication earned him his Black Belt by the age of seven, setting the tone for his future in martial arts.

From the moment he achieved his Black Belt, Marcos wanted to be part of the instructor team—competing, bonding, and challenging himself at a higher level. Naturally competitive, he enjoys testing himself against others, both in training and in competition. As an instructor, he finds purpose in passing along the knowledge he’s gained and inspiring the next generation of martial artists. Teaching the Little Dragons (ages 4–6) is one of his favorite roles, as their excitement and joy for learning keep him energized and motivated.

Marcos’s dedication has not gone unnoticed. He has been recognized as Junior Instructor of the Year and has earned Best of the Best honors from the National Martial Arts Alliance, achievements that reflect both his skill and his leadership. Now a Head Instructor at Venture Martial Arts – Central Park, he leads by example, focusing on discipline, character development, and building strong connections with his students.

Looking ahead, Marcos aspires to continue competing at the highest levels with the National Martial Arts Alliance, while also deepening his leadership within Venture. He hopes to be a source of guidance and inspiration for every student, helping them achieve their goals just as martial arts has shaped his own life.

Today, Marcos Sandoval is a third-degree Black Belt and Head Instructor at Venture Martial Arts – Central Park.
