Biography

  • 2nd DEGREE BLACK BELT AND ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

Audrey Keeley is 16 years old, born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She has been participating in taekwondo since she was six years old. Her parents got her involved in taekwondo to gain self-defense skills and as well as to grow the life skills taught in class. She has been an instructor for the last four years. She became an instructor because wanted to pass along the skills learned in class to other students. When she was losing motivation in her own training, her instructors encouraged her to start teaching and that reinvigorated her passion for Martial Arts.

Audrey feels safer when walking on the streets because of the skills she has learned throughout the years. She loves to watch the students that she trains grow both physically and mentally by watching them learn new things and adopt life skills. The most important life skill to her is respect because when she teaches and sees people treat others with respect, it really warms her heart. The Venture community is a pivotal place where she finds and fosters respect in her world among fellow students, instructors, and everyone involved.

Audrey recently obtained her blue-collar and strives towards working her third-degree Black Belt. She plans on using her knowledge of teaching to pursue a career in education. Interacting with kids and understanding how other people learn sets her up for future success. Taekwondo has changed her as a person and she doesn’t know who she would be without it. She wants to make a positive impact on people’s lives by knowing the joy that Martial Arts training brings to her and everyone that participates. Her desire is to teach others respect and feel it within everyone she meets.

Audrey is a second-degree Black Belt and blue-collar instructor at Venture Martial Arts in Central Park.
